Identify features on the map

If you want to know about a feature on the map, you can get more information about it.

To identify a feature

1. In the Toolbar, click the Identify button. . The button changes to a pressed appearance .
2. Click on the feature you want to identify. An identify icon will be placed on the map at the location clicked. After a few moments, a drop down menu will be displayed.
   
3. Select the desired item from the drop down menu to expand the feature attributes. Note that if there is only one item in the menu the feature attributes will automatically display. 
   
4. Some feaures may have links to more detailed information. Click the the blue underlined link to view detail.
5. Click on the X button in the upper right corner to close the info winwow.
